# Open-Weight Models

An open-weight model is an AI model whose trained weights are published for anyone to download. The weights are what the model learned in training. With a copy of them you can run the model on hardware you control and train it further on your own data.

Open weights are not the same as open source. Many publishers release the weights without the training data or code, and the license sets what you may do with the model. This library puts each model's full card, architecture, files, license and published evaluations on one page.

### [Darwin-27B-ZTC-v2](https://savrn.com/models/darwin-27b-ztc-v2)

[FINAL_Bench](https://savrn.com/model-publishers/final-bench)

A zero-token decision engine from the Darwin family, second version. Darwin-27B-ZTC-v2 reads a piece of state and a typed question (noul yes or no, choice one of N labels, score an ordered rubric) and returns a probability for every option. It uses one forward pass per question and generates no tokens. v2 adds control and workflow decisions (games, drones, retrieval control, entity alignment, customer and incident workflows) on top of FINAL-Bench/Darwin-27B-ZTC. 1 on the S1MB leaderboard under both of its rankings: the default Borda score and Task Avg. All 137 benchmarks complete, measured with the S1MB evaluator and its autojev adapter at revision a8f283a, then validated and merged by the…

### [Decider-4B](https://savrn.com/models/decider-4b)

[Roudone](https://savrn.com/model-publishers/roudone)

Decider-4B is a structured decision model based on TokenRhythm/NeoHorse-1-4B. It uses LoRA to fine-tune the base model and trains the decision head from scratch on our collected decision datasets. The model then undergoes global temperature calibration to further calibrate its outputs. It produces typed probability distributions (noul, choice, score) and is not a chat-generation model. Exact run settings, where recorded by the exporter, are retained in modelmanifest.json; reference scripts under provenance/recipereference/ describe the project recipes rather than prove the exact mixture or hyperparameters of this checkpoint. No additional head-only training phase is claimed for this…

### [Decily-MLX-4bit](https://savrn.com/models/decily-mlx-4bit)

[Alexzhang](https://savrn.com/model-publishers/alexzhang0118)

Decily scores a runtime-provided set of candidates against a state and a question, and returns a calibrated probability distribution over those candidates. It does not generate text. Decily is built for decisions where you want a probability you can threshold, not a sentence you have to parse. Apple MLX 4-bit build — the on-device variant. The tower is quantized (group-64 affine, 968 MB); the scoring head ships separately in decisionhead.safetensors (kept in fp32 for calibration). This card covers all four released artifacts; they are the same model in different containers. state + question + candidate jointly; an attention-pooling layer over all tokens feeds a LayerNorm/GELU MLP that…

Decily scores a runtime-provided set of candidates against a state and a question, and returns a calibrated probability distribution over those candidates. It does not generate text. Decily is built for decisions where you want a probability you can threshold, not a sentence you have to parse. ONNX int8 build (1.66 GB, single self-contained file) — the CPU/edge artifact. Dynamic int8 quantization of the full scoring graph (inputids + attentionmask -> logits); PyTorch is not needed to run it. Each row is one candidate's state + question + candidate token sequence; the logits are softmaxed over the candidates. Reference runner: fair-suite parity batch; the fp32 graph matches (Apple M5 CPU, 4…

### [Decision-1-NF4](https://savrn.com/models/decision-1-nf4)

[Worthify AI](https://savrn.com/model-publishers/worthify)

A pre-quantized NF4 checkpoint in the Worthify Decision-1 family. Download 7.64 GB of weight shards and load the saved NF4 tensors directly. In three short usage checks on an RTX 3090, peak PyTorch-allocated inference memory was 7.26 GiB. We converted Decision-1 at cab55818cfb6f4163f2b2597bed31cceb6ba2030 with bitsandbytes NF4 and double quantization. This release adds no training. Decision-1 is a single-seed research preview derived from Gemma 4 12B; its original model card describes the training and BF16 evaluation. Give the model a text state, a question, and 2–16 described options. Read the next-token scores for the supplied option letters to select an option ID. Those scores are…

Kai reads the context and candidate descriptions together, then returns structured decisions and probability distributions. 53.52 overall — above both general Laya models, and +7.04 points over the previous Kai release. On the benchmark's 160-question BoolQ slice, Kai scores 74.38%, versus 69.38% for each Laya reference. Same 54 tasks and 3,766 scored questions, with fixed source/family weights. Both Laya references use released general weights, without target-dataset fine-tuning. This is an observed regression suite; results vary by task.…

Lex contains 571,909,635 parameters. Both models were evaluated on the original 2,000-decision English typed-decisions test split, with complete inputs and the official fine-tuned Laya checkpoint. Lex answers 31 more decisions correctly. Observed accuracy gain; the paired 95% interval is −0.20 to +3.15 points. Laya leads on Noul and probability-quality metrics. Full…

[Silares](https://savrn.com/model-publishers/sail-ing-north)

We present DeepSeek-V3, a strong Mixture-of-Experts (MoE) language model with 671B total parameters with 37B activated for each token. To achieve efficient inference and cost-effective training, DeepSeek-V3 adopts Multi-head Latent Attention (MLA) and DeepSeekMoE architectures, which were thoroughly validated in DeepSeek-V2. Furthermore, DeepSeek-V3 pioneers an auxiliary-loss-free strategy for load balancing and sets a multi-token prediction training objective for stronger performance. We pre-train DeepSeek-V3 on 14.8 trillion diverse and high-quality tokens, followed by Supervised Fine-Tuning and Reinforcement Learning stages to fully harness its capabilities. Sentence and document embedding models used to build retrieval systems. Dimension and sequence length matter more than size here, and both come from the publisher.

### [Models that fit on one accelerator](https://savrn.com/collections/models-that-run-on-one-accelerator)

Models whose publisher-reported parameter count puts them within reach of a single accelerator at common precisions. Memory needed depends on precision and serving configuration, so treat the parameter count as the starting point, not the answer.

### [Open-weight text models worth knowing](https://savrn.com/collections/open-weight-text-models-worth-knowing)

Widely used open-weight language models, chosen because each one is a distinct family rather than a variant of the one above it. Selection, not a ranking.

## Open-Weight Models Explained

### What is an open-weight model?

An AI model whose trained weights are published for anyone to download, so it can be run, tested and fine-tuned on hardware the user controls.

### Is an open-weight model the same as open source?

Not always. Open weights means the trained model can be downloaded. Open source usually also means the training code and data are available and the license allows broad reuse. Many open-weight models release the weights only.

### Can I use an open-weight model commercially?

It depends on the license. Apache 2.0 and MIT allow commercial use. Other licenses limit it, for example to non-commercial use or below a set number of users. Every model page here shows its license.

### How much memory does an open-weight model need?

About two bytes per parameter at 16-bit precision, so a 7-billion-parameter model needs roughly 14 GB for its weights, plus memory for the context it processes. Each model page lists its parameter count and the size of its files.
