# Open-Weight Models

An open-weight model is an AI model whose trained weights are published for anyone to download. The weights are what the model learned in training. With a copy of them you can run the model on hardware you control and train it further on your own data.

Open weights are not the same as open source. Many publishers release the weights without the training data or code, and the license sets what you may do with the model. This library puts each model's full card, architecture, files, license and published evaluations on one page.

[William, RUAN](https://savrn.com/model-publishers/knowin-29)

No model weights or adapters are available to download. This repository contains a model card only. It is not a loadable Transformers model. No release date is promised, and no third-party weights have been uploaded. KnowinRouter jointly selects one capability expert and optional knowledge/perception under a bounded acquisition budget. The intended portfolio uses a shared Qwen3-VL-8B backbone and three independent LoRA adapters: General (continued pretraining), Spatial Reasoning, and Spatiotemporal. A frozen Qwen3-VL-2B descriptor feeds the utility router. After one acquisition round, the Packet Verifier retains valid evidence with positive predicted gain while keeping the expert fixed. The…

### [Kokoro-82M-CoreAI](https://savrn.com/models/kokoro-82m-coreai)

[Richard R.](https://savrn.com/model-publishers/richardr1126)

Kokoro-82M (StyleTTS2 + iSTFTNet) exported to Apple's Core AI.aimodel format for iOS 27 and macOS 26. Built for OpenReader iOS, an on-device document reader. Published because the export differs from the community recipe in one way that matters, and because a working Core AI TTS export was hard enough to arrive at that it is worth not repeating. Three fixed-shape bundles with two host steps between them. Kokoro's acoustic graph has exactly one data-dependent length — the duration-to-alignment expansion L = sum(preddur) — so the model is cut where that length appears rather than being made dynamic. Token bucket 128, frame bucket 512 — one pass renders 12.8 s of audio. Fixed buckets are not a…

Unofficial GGUF quantization of Aleph Alpha's Kolibri-1. Requires the experimental Kolibri patch for llama.cpp. Get the patched runtime from Eliasfpv28/Kolibri-1-Q3KS-GGUF, and follow Eliasfpv28's build instructions to build the patched llama.cpp. The tested runtime uses base revision edd6e2bbdad5930899a93db8fa73c3b61c7b9bcc. Kolibri-1 is a text model for German and English, with reasoning and tool-calling modes. It has 78.10 billion parameters and activates about 3.46 billion per token. The following llama-bench runs use an RTX Pro 6000 Blackwell Server Edition on RunPod. The Pod has 96 GB VRAM, 188 GB host RAM and 32 allocated vCPUs. Measurements use three repetitions, 16 CPU threads…

These LoRAs were extracted from fine-tuned checkpoints. I did this primarily for myself because LoRAs are easier to work with: they can be mixed in real time and assigned different weights/strengths. This also saves space on your local computer. They work well at 100–150% strength. Choose a rank according to your taste and your hardware capabilities (the lower the rank, the less memory you need). However, some of my test generations showed that a lower rank can sometimes be preferable: it does not cause artifacts, and the result is closer to the reference image generated using the checkpoint from which the LoRA was extracted. A lot of time, electricity, and compute went into this on my…

## Open-Weight Models Explained

### What is an open-weight model?

An AI model whose trained weights are published for anyone to download, so it can be run, tested and fine-tuned on hardware the user controls.

### Is an open-weight model the same as open source?

Not always. Open weights means the trained model can be downloaded. Open source usually also means the training code and data are available and the license allows broad reuse. Many open-weight models release the weights only.

### Can I use an open-weight model commercially?

It depends on the license. Apache 2.0 and MIT allow commercial use. Other licenses limit it, for example to non-commercial use or below a set number of users. Every model page here shows its license.

### How much memory does an open-weight model need?

About two bytes per parameter at 16-bit precision, so a 7-billion-parameter model needs roughly 14 GB for its weights, plus memory for the context it processes. Each model page lists its parameter count and the size of its files.
