SAVRN's Take

Nine datasets sit under this task, and two of the listed entries hold nearly all the bytes. GiftEvalPretrain from Salesforce AI Research bundles 71 univariate and 17 multivariate datasets across seven domains and 13 frequencies, 4.5 million series and 230 billion data points, with no leakage across the train and test split. At 397,938 downloads it is the entry for pretraining a forecasting model rather than tuning one. Open Climate Fix (Archives) publishes a subset of the Met Office UK Deterministic Dataset, converted from NetCDF into Zarr, our pick for solar output. The rest are narrow feeds: Polymarket CLOB WebSocket messages for microstructure work, IBM Quantum Heron calibration drift against space weather, and 14,612,276 rows of central bank exchange rates back to 1914.

Disk comes first: GiftEvalPretrain is about 737 GB and the solar subset about 537 GB, so the two headline entries need over a terabyte of fast storage before training starts. The four smaller entries together fit under a gigabyte. On licenses, four of the nine are CC BY 4.0, one MIT, one Apache 2.0, and three are marked other, including the Polymarket archive; other is the category to open and read before a model trained on it earns revenue. We would test the no-leakage claim against our own held-out split before trusting it.

GiftEvalPretrain

Salesforce AI Research

Pretraining dataset aligned with GIFT-Eval that has 71 univariate and 17 multivariate datasets, spanning seven domains and 13 frequencies, totaling 4.5 million time series and 230 billion data points. Notably this collection of data has no leakage issue with the train/test split and can be used to pretrain foundation models that can be fairly evaluated on GIFT-Eval. This release is for research purposes only in support of an academic paper. Our models, datasets, and code are not specifically designed or evaluated for all downstream purposes. We strongly recommend users evaluate and address potential concerns related to accuracy, safety, and fairness before deploying this model. We encourage…

This dataset is a subset of the Met Office UK Deterministic Dataset, converted from the original NetCDF format into Zarr format for modern data analysis. The Zarr files are packaged as.zarr.zip archives for efficient storage and transfer. The subset focuses on specific variables and configurations, which are detailed below. Researchers and developers can use this subset for applications in climate science, weather forecasting, and renewable energy modeling. This dataset is provided under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC-BY-4.0). When using this dataset, you must provide proper attribution to the Met Office as outlined below. This dataset is derived from the Met…

polymarket-l2-history

Arthur

Append-only archives of public Polymarket CLOB WebSocket messages for markets eligible for liquidity rewards. The dataset is intended for market microstructure research, backtests and machine-learning experiments. No wallet data, private keys or authenticated trading information is collected. Files are gzip-compressed JSON Lines and grouped by source and UTC date. The source data comes from Polymarket's public CLOB interfaces and remains subject to the applicable source-platform terms.

qiskit-calibration-drift

Charles Norton

Calibration parameters from IBM Quantum Heron processors joined to ambient and space-weather conditions at the time of each measurement. Designed for time-series forecasting of qubit drift and for studying environmental coupling to superconducting calibrations. A GitHub Action (source) polls backend.properties() on every available Heron device every 30 minutes and appends new calibration events keyed on (backend, property, qubita, qubitb, calibratedtime). All backends are at IBM's Yorktown Heights, NY facility (lat=41.27, lon=-73.78). Coherence. T1, T2 per qubit, in microseconds. Single-qubit gate errors. sxerror, xerror, iderror, rxerror, rzerror. Reported separately by the IBM API; on a…

central-bank-exchange-rates

Today

Official exchange rates published by 103 central banks and 4 tax authorities, as one CSV per institution: 14,612,276 rows, the oldest series from 1914. Refreshed daily from the GitHub source repository. Every row is the figure the institution itself published for that date: the ECB euro reference rate, the Federal Reserve H.10 table, the Bank of England spot rates, RBI reference rates, PBoC central parity, HMRC monthly rates for VAT, US Treasury quarterly rates, and a hundred more. These are the rates that invoices, tax filings, customs declarations, transfer pricing and audits require, as opposed to market rates. Direction follows the publisher: the ECB quotes EUR → USD, the Reserve Bank…

ast-spacemobile-fleet-data

Julien Simon

Part of a dataset collection on Hugging Face. Daily health snapshots of the AST SpaceMobile BlueBird direct-to-cell satellite constellation, derived from CelesTrak GP (General Perturbations) data. Tracks the BlueWalker 3 prototype and all production BlueBird satellites as the constellation is built out. AST SpaceMobile is developing a unique LEO constellation designed to provide broadband connectivity directly to ordinary unmodified smartphones, without special satellite-phone hardware. The BlueBird satellites use unusually large phased-array antennas (up to 700 m2) to close the link budget with handset-sized antennas on the ground. The BlueWalker 3 prototype launched in 2022, the first…

gwosc-o4a-strain

Astro Legacy Archive

This dataset contains the public Gravitational Wave Open Science Center O4a strain release at 16,384 Hz for H1, L1. Each detector is represented independently. A contiguous source span produces three Parquet files: Strain, DQmask, and Injmask. This research has made use of data or software obtained from the Gravitational Wave Open Science Center (gwosc.org), a service of the LIGO Scientific Collaboration, the Virgo Collaboration, and KAGRA. This material is based upon work supported by NSF's LIGO Laboratory which is a major facility fully funded by the National Science Foundation, as well as the Science and Technology Facilities Council (STFC) of the United Kingdom, the Max-Planck-Society…
