Start with the need

A program shaped around your organization.

01

Understand local demand

Identify expected roles, timing and skills already present in the regional workforce. Distinguish construction work from continuing operations.

02

Make learning accessible

Plan recruitment, schedules, eligibility, learner support and funding responsibilities with local education and workforce organizations.

03

Define practical opportunities

Where employers can support them, agree paid placements with named supervisors, learning objectives and clear operating arrangements.

The first engagement

A scope you can review.

Define the work, the partners and the resources before setting a delivery commitment. Scope, timing and fees are agreed for the engagement.

Requirements brief
Target roles, learner starting points, equipment, location and operating needs.
Curriculum map
Relevant courses, practical tasks, prerequisites and assessment criteria.
Delivery outline
Learning locations, instructors, equipment, supervision and proposed schedule.
Responsibility plan
What SAVRN and each partner would deliver, resource assumptions and open decisions.
Measurement plan
How completion, demonstrated skills and agreed employment outcomes would be tracked.

Partner responsibilities

Clear roles from the beginning.

SAVRN

Curriculum and program design support, practical learning requirements and an agreed measurement approach.

Education and workforce partners

Local delivery, learner requirements, recruitment, support and community access.

Employers and community partners

Defined roles and placement commitments; local priorities, named owners and public reporting arrangements.

Make commitments measurable.

Agree funded seats, placements, access and reporting responsibilities in the local program's agreements. Record who owns each commitment and when it is due. Workforce commitments sit alongside the project's separate resource and community obligations.

Evidence & improvement

Agree the measures before delivery.

Report local participation, completion, assessed skills, placements actually provided and relevant job offers. Include wage ranges and retention where agreed. Publish the period and cohort, explain missed targets, and protect individual information.
