Kronos is the first open-source foundation model for financial candlesticks (K-lines), trained on data from over 45 global exchanges. It is designed to handle the unique, high-noise characteristics of financial data. Kronos is a family of decoder-only foundation models, pre-trained specifically for the "language" of financial markets—K-line sequences. It leverages a novel two-stage framework: 1. A specialized tokenizer first quantizes continuous, multi-dimensional K-line data (OHLCV) into hierarchical discrete tokens. 2. A large, autoregressive Transformer is then pre-trained on these tokens, enabling it to serve as a unified model for diverse quantitative tasks. The success of large-scale…

fastText is an open-source, free, lightweight library that allows users to learn text representations and text classifiers. It works on standard, generic hardware. Models can later be reduced in size to even fit on mobile devices. It was introduced in this paper. The official website can be found here. This LID (Language IDentification) model is used to predict the language of the input text, and the hosted version (lid218e) was released as part of the NLLB project and can detect 217 languages. You can find older versions (ones that can identify 157 languages) on the official fastText website. fastText is a library for efficient learning of word representations and sentence classification.…

This model was trained on the MS Marco Passage Ranking task. The model can be used for Information Retrieval: Given a query, encode the query will all possible passages (e.g. retrieved with ElasticSearch). Then sort the passages in a decreasing order. See SBERT.net Retrieve & Re-rank for more details. The training code is available here: SBERT.net Training MS Marco The usage is easy when you have SentenceTransformers installed. Then you can use the pre-trained models like this: In the following table, we provide various pre-trained Cross-Encoders together with their performance on the TREC Deep Learning 2019 and the MS Marco Passage Reranking dataset.

Eval data: Conll03 (NER), GermEval14 (NER), GermEval18 (Classification), GNAD (Classification) Update April 3rd, 2020: we updated the vocabulary file on deepset's s3 to conform with the default tokenization of punctuation tokens. For details see the related FARM issue. If you want to use the old vocab we have also uploaded a "deepset/bert-base-german-cased-oldvocab" model. - We trained using Google's Tensorflow code on a single cloud TPU v2 with standard settings. - We trained 810k steps with a batch size of 1024 for sequence length 128 and 30k steps with sequence length 512. Training took about 9 days. - As training data we used the latest German Wikipedia dump (6GB of raw txt files), the…

Mask2Former model trained on Cityscapes semantic segmentation (large-sized version, Swin backbone). It was introduced in the paper Masked-attention Mask Transformer for Universal Image Segmentation and first released in this repository. Disclaimer: The team releasing Mask2Former did not write a model card for this model so this model card has been written by the Hugging Face team. Mask2Former addresses instance, semantic and panoptic segmentation with the same paradigm: by predicting a set of masks and corresponding labels. Hence, all 3 tasks are treated as if they were instance segmentation. Mask2Former outperforms the previous SOTA, MaskFormer both in terms of performance an efficiency by…

It was introduced in the paper Swin Transformer V2: Scaling Up Capacity and Resolution by Liu et al. and first released in this repository. Disclaimer: The team releasing Swin Transformer v2 did not write a model card for this model so this model card has been written by the Hugging Face team. The Swin Transformer is a type of Vision Transformer. It builds hierarchical feature maps by merging image patches (shown in gray) in deeper layers and has linear computation complexity to input image size due to computation of self-attention only within each local window (shown in red). It can thus serve as a general-purpose…

GGUF builds of nvidia/LocateAnything-3B for locate-anything.cpp - a C++/ggml inference engine for open-vocabulary detection / visual grounding, no Python at inference time. Brought to you by the LocalAI team. The detections are the same as the official PyTorch implementation (the engine is parity-gated against it), and it runs faster - on CPU and GPU. The full-precision f32 GGUF (~15 GB) is reproducible from the HF weights with scripts/convertlocateanythingtogguf.py in the repo. Same detections as the official model, faster. Full methodology, the warm/median setup, parity checks, and more images are in the repo's Slow-mode inference on the 448 fixture; vs official divides the official…

The Document Image Orientation Classification Module is primarily designed to distinguish the orientation of document images and correct them through post-processing. During processes such as document scanning or ID photo capturing, the device might be rotated to achieve clearer images, resulting in images with various orientations. Standard OCR pipelines may not handle these images effectively. By leveraging image classification techniques, the orientation of documents or IDs containing text regions can be pre-determined and adjusted, thereby improving the accuracy of OCR processing. The key accuracy metrics are as follow: Please refer to the following commands to install PaddlePaddle…
