Open-weight model

Aqua-1.0.0

by Aqua aquas-modela/Aqua-1.0.0

Aqua-1.0.0 is an open-weight model from Aqua. It has 100M parameters and a 1,024-token context. At 16-bit it needs about 0.2 GB of GPU memory, which fits on 1x MI300X from $1.85 an hour, at the lowest prices in the SAVRN Index.

Aqua is a 100-million-parameter model trained on vast amounts of curated, organized data. It is designed for general-purpose responses and is retrained daily.

Runs On

What it takes to serve Aqua-1.0.0 (100M parameters): the memory its weights need at each precision, and the cheapest way to rent enough data-center GPUs to hold them.

Memory is the weights at that precision plus 20% for the runtime and a short context; a long context needs more. Prices are the lowest on-demand hourly rates in the SAVRN Index, read Oct 18, 2026.

Model Card

Aqua is a 100-million-parameter model trained on vast amounts of curated, organized data. It is designed for general-purpose responses and is retrained daily. Its intended use is as a base model for fine-tuning by companies or individuals, and it is released under the Apache 2.0 license for flexible use. Although this version has been trained on highly refined data up to 2026, it is the smallest variant. We will soon launch Aqua-3.0.0, a model optimized for more fluent Spanish conversations, with future plans to add support for English, Chinese, Arabic, and Russian.

Questions About Aqua-1.0.0

How much GPU memory does Aqua-1.0.0 need?

About 0.2 GB at 16-bit and 0.1 GB at 4-bit: the weights (100M parameters) plus a working margin. A long context needs more.

What is the cheapest GPU to run Aqua-1.0.0 on?

At 16-bit, 1x MI300X from $1.85 an hour; at 4-bit, 1x MI300X from $1.85 an hour, at the lowest on-demand prices the SAVRN Index lists.

What is Aqua-1.0.0's context length?

1,024 tokens, from the maximum position embeddings in its published configuration.
