Open-Weight Models

An open-weight model is an AI model whose trained weights are published for anyone to download. The weights are what the model learned in training. With a copy of them you can run the model on hardware you control and train it further on your own data.

Open weights are not the same as open source. Many publishers release the weights without the training data or code, and the license sets what you may do with the model. This library puts each model's full card, architecture, files, license and published evaluations on one page.

Official evaluation checkpoints for PredActor, a predictive action diffusion controller for steerable Unitree G1 locomotion. The model jointly predicts future states and actions, uses its internal state trajectory for guidance, and directly executes the selected 29-DoF action. This repository contains the two learned artifacts required by the public - the released PDP051 text-conditioned PredActor policy; - the fine-tuned G1 MotionCLIP encoder used for semantic conditioning. Source code, the browser-based evaluator, and G1 robot assets are maintained in the public PredActor repository. Training datasets, experiment outputs, hardware deployment bundles, and additional checkpoints are not…

ProAR

Shen Linghui

ProAR solves reasoning tasks by autoregressively generating a sequence of visual states. It equips autoregressive video models with two complementary components: - Outcome Guidance predicts a future goal frame to guide current-chunk generation. - Transition Guidance aligns the current representation with the clean next-chunk representation during training. ProAR is built upon Wan2.2-TI2V-5B. hf download LinghuiShen/ProAR \ --local-dir checkpoints/ProAR

Supervised fine-tuned version of Prochlo-190M-Base — a 190.5M-parameter dense English SLM trained from scratch. All variants share architecture, tokenizer, and vocabulary. 26-item behavioral rubric (format adherence, anti-sycophancy, code, concision): 61.5% pass. Strong on code instructions and factual QA. Weak on concise replies, long multi-turn coherence, and arithmetic. English only — Chinese input produces garbage by design. The chat format is plain text with control tokens, not a chat template: Note: weights are sharded across 32 safetensors files with a model.safetensors.index.json; frompretrained handles this transparently. Frozen protein embeddings, input-audit records and label files for the paper ProtCompass: Biological Information and Predictive Utility in Protein Representations (anonymous submission to ICLR 2027). Protein encoders are usually evaluated by structural probing, downstream prediction and concept erasure. These measurements can mix signal learned by the encoder with information that is already present in the input or that the evaluation adds. ProtCompass separates these sources. It audits which inputs each encoder actually reads, compares structural probe scores with non-learned descriptions of the same inputs, compares downstream scores with simple sequence baselines, and controls…

Protium-1.0 is Solstice-AI's high-efficiency, objective-gated cognitive reasoning architecture for open-weight foundation models. Named after Protium ($^1\text{H}$) — the fundamental isotope of hydrogen featuring zero neutrons and zero dead weight — Protium-1.0 replaces traditional, unconstrained chain-of-thought bloat with a lean, forward-only reasoning pipeline. Rather than imposing static token minimums, rigid pseudo-schemas, or unconstrained internal deliberation loops, Protium-1.0 operates on an Objective-Gated Protocol: every reasoning sequence anchors its verification criteria at step one, reasons strictly forward toward that objective, and terminates deliberation the moment verified…

Models that fit on one accelerator

Models whose publisher-reported parameter count puts them within reach of a single accelerator at common precisions. Memory needed depends on precision and serving configuration, so treat the parameter count as the starting point, not the answer.

Open-Weight Models Explained

What is an open-weight model?

An AI model whose trained weights are published for anyone to download, so it can be run, tested and fine-tuned on hardware the user controls.

Is an open-weight model the same as open source?

Not always. Open weights means the trained model can be downloaded. Open source usually also means the training code and data are available and the license allows broad reuse. Many open-weight models release the weights only.

Can I use an open-weight model commercially?

It depends on the license. Apache 2.0 and MIT allow commercial use. Other licenses limit it, for example to non-commercial use or below a set number of users. Every model page here shows its license.

How much memory does an open-weight model need?

About two bytes per parameter at 16-bit precision, so a 7-billion-parameter model needs roughly 14 GB for its weights, plus memory for the context it processes. Each model page lists its parameter count and the size of its files.
