This repository contains the official trained policies for The files are organized by task environment and training seed: The play.py script in the JoSE repository downloads a pretrained model and executes it in the corresponding environment, allowing agent behaviour to be visualized. The script is called from the repo root as follows: Seeds vary by hand and task. See the HuggingFace model directory to see which seeds are available for each task-hand combination.

by MinseokKang MANGSEOK123/Qwen3-4B-tau2-grpo-retail-2ep-lr1e6
Qwen3-4B-tau2-grpo-retail-2ep-lr1e6 is an open-weight model for reinforcement learning from MinseokKang, released under Apache License 2.0. It has 4.4B parameters and a 262,144-token context. At 16-bit it needs about 10.6 GB of GPU memory, which fits on 1x MI300X from $1.85 an hour, at the lowest prices in the SAVRN Index.
Trained on the retail domain of tau2-bench alone rather than on airline+retail jointly, completing a four-way sweep (plain/memory x airline/retail).

What it takes to serve Qwen3-4B-tau2-grpo-retail-2ep-lr1e6 (4.4B parameters): the memory its weights need at each precision, and the cheapest way to rent enough data-center GPUs to hold them.

Memory is the weights at that precision plus 20% for the runtime and a short context; a long context needs more. Prices are the lowest on-demand hourly rates in the SAVRN Index, read Oct 19, 2026.

Trained on the retail domain of tau2-bench alone rather than on airline+retail jointly, completing a four-way sweep (plain/memory x airline/retail). On retail the memory-augmented variant is the stronger of the two at this budget (avg@3 0.558 vs 0.492, pass^3 0.475 vs 0.350), and that ordering also held under joint training. Joint training carried to 5 epochs reached avg@3 0.592 (memory) and 0.558 (plain), so epoch count mattered more than domain separation here. Numbers use a 60-hop episode cap rather than tau2's 200-hop default, so they are not comparable to the public leaderboard.

Compact learned predictors and controllers for industrial setpoint control, tested against tuned PI and MPC on simulated plants: a two-pump pressure manifold, the Johansson four-tank system, and a thermal CSTR. It includes a C99 predictor for edge devices. All plants are synthetic, and the methods are adaptations of published papers, not reproductions. The offline FKDPP adaptation underperformed PI. Every outcome, including the losses, is kept in the reports. - The saved predictor is 12,484 bytes, with fixed-size inference. - The decision time is about 0.61 ms at the 95th percentile on an Apple ARM host. That excludes communication, PLC scans and admission checks. - The C99 predictor…
