Clark County is a generation frontier for Nevada. Its power plants have 14,194 MW of capacity, 52% of it natural gas, the largest fleet in Nevada. 4,479 MW of that came online in 2019 or later, mostly solar. 4,230 MW of new generation is planned here across 17 units, led by Noble Solar LLC (solar), the largest pipeline among Nevada's counties. 440 MW of it is already under construction or built.
