What Apache License 2.0 Allows

The Apache License 2.0 is a permissive open-source license. It permits commercial use, modification and redistribution. It requires keeping the license and copyright notices and any NOTICE file, stating significant changes, and it includes an express patent grant from contributors. Read the license text.

SAVRN's Take

Apache 2.0 asks little of the operator. Commercial use, modification and redistribution are all permitted. What it requires is housekeeping: keep the license and copyright notices, carry any NOTICE file along with the weights, and state the significant changes if you pass a modified version on. It also includes an express patent grant from contributors, the clause a procurement reviewer looks for before a model serves paying customers. So an organization can take the files from the publisher, fine-tune on its own data, run the result in its own facility and bill for the output.

On our hub 1,018 models carry this license. Qwen leads with 81, Google 50, Convergent Intelligence 39, PyTorch Image Models 32, OpenMed 31, Helsinki-NLP Research Group 27, and Unsloth AI and PaddlePaddle 22 each. Text generation accounts for 164 of the models, image and text to text for 89, and robotics for 43, so it covers more than chat.

Downloads show where it runs. all-MiniLM-L6-v2 from Sentence Transformers, a 23M parameter sentence similarity model, pulls 255,050,544 downloads a month and needs 0.1 GB at 16-bit, small enough to ride on a GPU already serving. ms-marco-MiniLM-L6-v2 follows at 88,642,387 for text ranking. The one text generation model in the top eight is Qwen3-0.6B at 22,498,727 downloads a month: 752M parameters, a 40,960 token context, 1.8 GB at 16-bit, and the cheapest host on the Index for it is one MI300X at $1.85 an hour.

KJS

This model was converted to GGUF format from black-forest-labs/flux-3-image-klein-pup using latest llama.cpp Refer to the original model card for more details on the model. Install llama.cpp through brew (works on Mac and Linux) Invoke the llama.cpp server or the CLI. Note: You can also use this checkpoint directly through the usage steps listed in the Llama.cpp repo as well. Step 2: Move into the llama.cpp folder and build it with LLAMACURL=1 flag along with other hardware-specific flags (for ex: LLAMACUDA=1 for Nvidia GPUs on Linux).

Router rows compacted and renumbered; MTP block pruned consistently. Teacher-forced logprob-equivalence (32 samples/domain, mean per-token delta vs base server; negative = worse): HumanEval pass@1 (temp 0, thinking off): 14/24, identical to base, same 14 tasks. Gemma is a family of open models built by Google DeepMind. Gemma 4 models are multimodal, handling text and image input (with audio supported on E2B, E4B, and 12B) and generating text output. This release includes open-weights models in both pre-trained and instruction-tuned variants. Gemma 4 features a context window of up to 256K tokens and maintains multilingual support in over 140 languages. Featuring both Dense and Mixture-of-Experts (MoE) architectures, Gemma 4 is well-suited for tasks like text generation, coding, and reasoning. The models are available in five distinct sizes: E2B, E4B, 12B, 26B A4B, and 31B. Their diverse sizes make them deployable in environments ranging from…

On a laptop running Debian 13 Linux, with an Intel Core Ultra 9 185H, its integrated Arc GPU and 32 GB of memory, Janas-LLM reads a prompt at 191 tok/s and writes at 38 tok/s, 52 tok/s with its own assistant in a chat: llama.cpp, on the same laptop, 150 and 19. Measured on 9-11 October 2026: llama-bench -p 1024 -n 16 and janas-bench --prompt 1024 --gen 16, both at their best configuration; the drafts with janas-bench on a chat reply, the mean of three rounds (a draft guesses the next tokens and the model checks them: the same text, faster). On other machines the figures will differ. Details: Janas README. - Debian 13 (trixie) Linux, x86-64, kernel 6.12.107 - its integrated Intel Arc GPU…

This model card provides the Gemma 4 E2B model in a way that is ready for deployment on Android, iOS, Desktop, IoT and Web. Gemma is a family of lightweight, state-of-the-art open models from Google, built from the same research and technology used to create the Gemini models. This particular Gemma 4 model is small so it is ideal for on-device use cases. By running this model on device, users can have private access to Generative AI technology without even requiring an internet connection. These models are provided in the.litertlm format for use with the LiteRT-LM framework. LiteRT-LM is a specialized orchestration layer built directly on top of LiteRT, Google’s high-performance…

Google publishes the QAT Q40 model google/gemma-4-E2B-it-qat-q40-gguf as GGUF, but its multi-token-prediction (MTP) assistant only as safetensors There was no GGUF MTP head for the QAT GGUF, so this repository is that assistant converted to GGUF, nothing else: no training or fine-tuning. Use it together with google/gemma-4-E2B-it-qat-q40-gguf for speculative decoding in llama.cpp. The Google model card asks for exactly this pairing: "When using multi-token prediction (speculative decoding) with an assistant model alongside a QAT target model, the assistant model must also be a QAT checkpoint with the same precision." llama.cpp at commit 0c1e570 (Gemma4AssistantForCausalLM → GGUF…

This is a GGUF LoRA adapter, not a standalone model. It is intended for the anonymization.ner entity-extraction route in Jurilix. INT8 weight-only quantization of google/gemma-4-E4B-it in the compressed-tensors format, ready for vLLM. Text, image and audio inputs are supported as in the original: only the text decoder is quantized. - Per-Layer Embeddings (embedtokensperlayer, perlayerinputgate, perlayerprojection, perlayermodelprojection) - Multimodal projections (embedvision, embedaudio) - Token embeddings and lmhead A large part of the E4B checkpoint is Per-Layer Embeddings, which stay in bf16, so the size reduction is smaller than the "8-bit" label suggests. The full recipe is in recipe.yaml. Perplexity and top-1 next-token agreement against the bf16 original on Wikipedia (wikimedia/wikipedia, dump 20231101)…
